If there happens to be some question weighing on your mind, or something you don't quite understand that isn't clicking pertaining to monetary operations or economics, ask here! I'll do my best to answer and maybe others here will have answers too!

I was reading that the US values its gold at $42/oz. A lot of people think they are going to revalue this gold as a way to pay off debt. Is this possible and do you think it will happen?

This is possible but I don't think it will happen. It won't help the common man at all unless you also own some gold but most people in the west don't.

If you don't own any gold the revaluation will help the Big Banks as they accumulate more and more Gold. Any revaluation that happens helps them more than the rest of us because they own so much of it.

I mean there have been some rumblings of revaluation from what I've been hearing, you don't think it will happen at all?

Anything is possible. I'll believe it when I see it. Lol

Yep, we will see. Who knows! Do you see any form of monetary reset happening soon?

That I see as very likely. Throughout history the main reserve currency only lasts 70-100 years and we are around 90 years of being the main currency after the British Pound gave that status up. Gold is already surpassing US treasuries and a tier 1 asset.

Good question. That's a hard one to pick. I do fancy the Australian Kookaburra.
