Even though I have debit card as well as credit card, I like to use credit card more than debit card. With credit card, I can use bank's money for 45 days for free. secondly, I also get cash backs and points for using credit cards, I can use cash backs towards purchases and convert points into purchase credit. Why should I use my money when I can use bank's money for free for 45 days?

Ah but with credit(or any loan) you are technically not using anyone's money. I'll refer you to this thread: Whose money is the bank lending and this documentary for further explanation. They create the currency funds for that loan on the spot and it is no burden at all to them(as long as it gets paid off).

I personally use debit. For online shopping I use virtual debit from www.privacy.com and you get to earn cash back if you pay $10 a month. I usually get $20-30 back from it each month so it pays for itself and then some.

I currently have a debit card that use for my purchases, I have thought about getting a credit card mainly for gas and groceries only but I haven't bothered looking into getting one. I have heard of privacy.com and I should definitely start looking into using that service since you don't have to worry about hackers getting your card information and trying to buy things with your card.

Ya it's a great service. It is really good for free trials. You can make cards for that and just pause them so no transactions can go through, just in case you forget to cancel your trial.

Debit card is my favourite to make use of even though I have a credit card. If it's not a purchase which is going offer me discount using my credit card, I wouldn't use it.

I see making use of credit cards as a temptation because there are chances that I may end up spending more than I have mapped out to spend within a month. I am always relaxed with using debit card so that when the money in there finishes, I will know that it has finished at that particular time.
