When I was in school, we had "accounts" as an elective subject. I chose to study accounts, the course included a small section on finance and economics. When I went to college, finance was one of the subjects that I studied. I also studied business and investment.
When you were in school or college, did you study finance?
I did but very briefly for one year. I didn't learn the real fundamentals of how money works like I am here though and I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface.
Nope, I'm all self-taught. I've always been fascinated with inflation since hearing my dad tell me he could buy for 5 cents what cost a full dollar as a kid. As someone whose wages as a young adult never kept up with inflation or minimum wage, I wanted to know why so I did lots of research.
