Do you keep money set aside for emergencies? Why or why not?
Emergencies?
Yes, for sure. I set it aside for property taxes every year and my fridge is on the fritz.
I have emergency funds, whenever it gets depleted I fill it up as soon as I can. Generally it is for emergency, but sometimes I also en up using for regular expenses.
Just had to use some for replacing a windshield. 😫 So, yes, I do put some aside for emergencies.
I believe everyone should have some set aside, regardless of what you make. Might be easier for some than others but we should all set aside a percentage.
