This August Missourians will get to vote on Amendment 5 which aims to eliminate the income tax and lower property taxes. This amendment will also allow lawmakers to expand sales and use taxes on previously exempt goods and services such as hair salons and streaming services. My state previously tried to eliminate property taxes but ultimately this was shot down. If you live in Missouri I encourage you to read more on this Amendment and be sure you're registered to vote.

I hope this passes for Missourians! This would be a great relief for the people I'm sure. They've already passed some great laws too.

They made Gold and Silver legal tender for one. This is great for those who want to protect wealth.

They also passed a bill that blocks supranational organizations like the UN, World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, etc from have authority in their state. It is still yet to be signed by the governor though.

Oh I'm definitely voting yes on this amendment for sure! One of my coworkers from my previous job invested in gold a couple years ago, I'm sure he's happy knowing that gold and silver are legal tender in our state now.
