The Hidden Wealth Transfer Happening Inside Your Retirement Accounts

You own nothing. Those are all intangibles. They are all inside the system. If those overvalued intangible assets fall, you take the loss.

Because the real question isn't how many investments you own. It's how much of your wealth you actually control.

Take a look at this Bloomberg headline. High earners are actually choosing not to max out their 401(k)s because they want more control over their money.

Now look at the Schwab chart. Savings accounts, IRAs, brokerage accounts, health savings accounts. Look at all those choices.

But you want to know something that I really want you to recognize?

You own nothing. Those are all intangibles. They are all inside the system.

And this is what I really want you to recognize: Most of these are different forms of money or wealth. They're different ways of holding financial claims inside that same system.

And every one of those accounts comes with rules, restrictions, and somebody standing between you and your wealth—and taking lots of pieces of it, by the way.

So think about that. You worked for that fiat money. You gave up hours of your life that you can never get back. And now, to access the value of that labor, you have to go through somebody else's system, and they're also dictating the value.

Here's the reality: If you don't hold it, you don't own it, and you need permission to access it. Period.

And governments understand exactly how to encourage people to keep their wealth inside that system.

Look at what Ireland just announced: a brand-new savings scheme. Doesn't that sound wonderful?

Well, wait a minute. This isn't about putting fiat money aside and keeping it safe. Heck no. It's designed to encourage people to move their savings into stocks, bonds, and investment funds.

They call it democratization. Pay attention to that word. I hear it all the time.

I call it expanding the pool of people whose savings can be pulled into the system.

Because a debt-based financial system needs fresh capital to keep asset prices elevated, debts financed, and promises intact.

In other words, there always must be new money coming into every Ponzi scheme, and the public must have confidence in the system so they keep using it.

But listen to this scheme.

The first 50,000 euros gets favorable tax treatment. Above that, there's a proposed annual 1% tax on the excess account value.

And that tax isn't based on whether you made money or lost money. It's simply based on the excess account value.

Now, let's look at the full cycle. And I want you to expand your thought process on this.

The central bank expands the fiat currency and credit supply, pushing up the fiat-denominated prices of financial assets.

But at that same time, inflation is reducing the purchasing power of your labor and your savings.

And then you're encouraged to move those savings into financial assets whose prices have already been inflated by that same system.

Do you see what I'm saying here?

They encourage you to go into a system, reduce the value of your labor by inflicting inflation on you, and then, on top of that, tax the inflated value.

If those overvalued intangible assets fall, you take the loss. If their fiat value rises because the government did this, the government can tax that higher valuation.

And I know it's complicated. That's why I've tried to explain it a few different ways, so you can see what's happening.

I mean, it's evil genius. There's no doubt about it.

But through all of it, you still do not hold the real asset. You need permission from the bank, brokerage, custodian, or platform to access it.

Think about that.

Your labor is devalued. Your savings are pushed into potentially overvalued financial claims. The government taxes the inflated fiat value, and you still need permission to access what you supposedly own.

Well, I'm sorry. To me, that's not a savings incentive.

That's a wealth transfer mechanism disguised as an opportunity to save.

And who determines the rules? Who would that be? Oh, yeah. The government.

Who holds the assets? Financial intermediaries.

And whose markets benefit when more fiat money flows in? Not yours.

Now, let's go to Mexico, because this is where you can really see what's happening to retirement wealth.

Oh my goodness, look at this chart.

Mexican pension funds hold approximately 4.3 trillion pesos in government debt.

Where did all that fiat money come from?

The workers. People spending their lives working, putting fiat money aside, and believing they're building financial security for retirement.

Look what happens. The retirement funds become buyers of government IOUs.

And in case you think that doesn't happen everywhere, what do you think is in Social Security?

When there were excess funds, the U.S. government borrowed them. There are just IOUs in there now.

So here it's simple.

The government gets a market for its debt, and the workers get a promise that they'll be paid in the future with fiat money that has less and less purchasing power.

And down the road, what are they going to be paid in?

More fiat money. More fiat currency that governments and central banks can expand, reducing what each unit buys over time. And as we're seeing with sticky inflation, it doesn't take very long.

So the worker takes all the risk while the system benefits from access to that accumulated capital.

And here's the part that I really want you to think about.

Your retirement savings can be supporting government borrowing and corporate borrowing while you're counting on those same financial promises to support you.

And that brings us to the most important question of all.

Whose financial stability are you really working for?

Who decides what you can buy?

Who actually holds your assets?

Who benefits from your labor?

And what happens when you need access during a crisis?

Because here's the truth.

Having five different accounts inside the same financial system is not true diversification.

You're still dependent on financial institutions, government rules, and a currency that, by design, loses purchasing power.

And remember what purchasing power represents: the value of your labor, those hours of your life you've already spent.

That's why I'm such a strong advocate for physical gold and silver.

When you personally hold physical gold and silver, you're holding monetary assets that are not somebody else's promise to pay. You don't need anybody's permission to possess them.

And that's what true diversification is about.

Holding wealth outside the financial system and, if you're so inclined—or because you may not have any choice—inside the financial system as well, rather than depending entirely on financial claims.

Here at Zang International, we help you create and build protection before the system forces that decision on you.

Physical gold and physical silver that you own, control, and hold outside the financial system.

So give us a call today, because once urgency becomes an emergency, frankly, your choices get smaller, not bigger.

Because the real question isn't how many investments you own. It's how much of your wealth you actually control.

So thank you for being part of this extremely important conversation. And wherever you are in the world, please be safe out there.

And remember, sovereignty begins with what you choose to own.
