Well, should Americans just stop paying income taxes to the federal government? After all, when we send these checks to the federal government, it's being turned around and used on war almost immediately, and Americans don't support that at all. Well, what if I told you that in fact there is no law that requires you as an American to pay federal income taxes? Yeah, I know it sounds shocking, but it's actually true. We're going to talk about that in a moment. But first, the IRS appears to be

in real trouble, facing major operational challenges, having to lay off thousands of individuals at the IRS using antiquated equipment. So, what is actually going on at the IRS? [clears throat] After all, President Trump teased multiple times that he'd like to eliminate the income tax altogether. To which friends of the show like Congressman Thomas Massie cheered, said, "Yeah, good. It's basically illegal, his words. So, what's really going on here? Well, Joe Bannister is a former criminal

investigator with the IRS, a special agent who would go out and specifically investigate tax fraud. That was what his day job was until he had a major revelation when he discovered that there is actually no law that forces Americans to pay federal income taxes. and it completely changed his life. He then quit the IRS and he's been on a quest ever since to educate Americans about this and basically in many ways I will say it. He doesn't have to say it. The the real like the the criminality at the

Internal Revenue Service. I'll say it, not Joe's words. Joe, welcome to the show. Great to see you. >> Thanks for having me back, Clayton. It's always great to be with you. >> Yeah, I don't want to put words in your mouth. I I'll say it. It's >> Oh, you could say it. I I would chime in. I would agree. [laughter] >> Do you agree? I mean you would agree that the IRA like basically a large >> I mean if uh you know if money is taken from someone uh without right or

permission I guess in a sense there is permission but it's a deceitful way of gaining that permission which you know I might get a chance to explain but you know if you're if you're deceiving someone out of their money you're you're stealing from them plain and simple. >> Yeah that's a great point. just it's all dressed up in a nice building and a nice name and seems like it's oh these are the good guys uh when when in fact the opposite is true. So I wanted to talk

about um because there seems to be some real cracks in fissures occurring at the IRS and we've spoken to sources at the IRS who say their words it's a real show. Um and so major operational challenges President Trump of course teasing during the campaign he hasn't gone further with it yet. I mean, certainly if you want to win the midterm elections, by the way, this is one way to do it. Come out and announce you're going to eliminate federal income taxes because by all accounts, it's illegal. But anyway,

major operational challenges at the the the IRS. I don't know what the latest numbers are, but it looks pretty dire. Can you talk about this? >> Well, I don't I probably can't give you specifics on how many thousands, but it it is thousands. I mean, there were there are buyout programs, you know, to try to get old-timers to retire early. uh you know cut back the workforce and you know I I I haven't been there since the 90s. Uh you know I was there when Bill Clinton was president and the

Bushes and you know Nuke Gingrich was speaker of the house and uh so I mean back then the IRS was certainly a lot more powerful, a lot more organized. uh you know if it was a levy on your bank account or a lean filed against your real property uh you know it could happen in the blink of an eye and you know they meant business and amazingly and of course you've had Payon Mahed from Freedom Law School on and he he can point to dozens and dozens and dozens of government reports explaining how the

IRS is is literally falling apart. And so you have this uh you know husk of a of a former you know nice healthy piece of corn you know out there enforcing the income tax and the fear in the public is still there because it's been cultivated for so many decades but it really is at least beginning to become a paper tiger. Uh maybe the hope is that AI will somehow uh you know make it a a breeze for the government to collect the federal income tax. But you know in my view they still have the law, the constitution, their

antiquated computer systems from the 1960s to to deal with. So they can find all the data they want on us, which of course I'm very opposed to, but even with all that data, they still have to push it through a pipeline of a constitution laws that don't um authorize them to do what they do and try to, you know, pull the wool over the American people's eyes when we have the internet and we have the ability to share information with each other. So I I really do think that the writings on

the wall, they're going down. And it's like why not why not uh President Trump get on the horse and you know ride it to the finish line, >> right? All the signs are there. He could come in. I mean, like I said, it looks pretty dire for Republicans heading into the midterms. Like if there's one thing you wanted to do that would be an absolute catalyst, say, "Hey, I'm the president that eliminated this boondoggle of income taxes." Um uh would be like a shock wave. I mean, just at a

high level, what do you think that that would do to the the economy? Well, it might there might be an inflationary issue because of course if people had more money to spend. Uh but of course the the Federal Reserve, you know, the whole fiat money system and the income tax were both ushered in in 1913 almost the exact same time. And that wasn't a coincidence. you know, they they have to work together to create these endless, you know, printing of money and then suck out certain portion of that money created by the

income tax. In other words, create the money but don't let you spend it all at once kind of a thing. Uh, you know, so there'd be an inflationary effect, but ultimately productivity would massively go up. uh you know fear would be displaced out of the American people's hearts and minds and they could focus on things like their families uh you know and making the country uh free again according to the constitutional limitations uh and of course I mean income tax it causes crime it causes divorce it causes

all kinds of of societal ills so absolutely if President Trump or anyone who who champions um you know the income tax which by the way you know the progressive income tax is the darling of Karl Marx not Thomas Jefferson or George Washington. So you you have to scratch your head and wonder why do we have a communist a system that's championed by communists uh you know seemingly applicable to every American in the United States and then you you find out that when you actually look at the laws the regulations and

Supreme Court cases that's not the case. So they uh the government, the media, mainstream media that is, you know, is trying to pull the wool over the American people's eyes. They've been doing it for decades. I the wool was pulled over my eyes enough that I would, you know, apply to and become an IRS criminal investigator. Spent five and a half years doing that. But fact of the matter is once somebody challenged me to look into the underlying laws uh the Supreme Court cases on the topic, I

found that wow, it looks to me like the agency I work for is lying to the public. Uh I approached my supervisors very politely, respectfully, reminded them that myself and they were subject to Treasury rules of conduct. uh our oath to support and defend the Constitution, our own, you know, human morality. And rather than address my concerns, uh I was encouraged to resign from the IRS. So I resigned in February of 1999, uh you know, 26 years ago. And uh you know, actually 1998 was the last year that I filed a federal income tax return

myself. So, uh, it's amazing to me that it's been 25 26 years since I resigned. And of course, there's been some interesting conduct on part on the part of the government uh, dealing with me, you know, so to the extent you'd like to drill down on that, I'd be happy to do so. >> Yeah, I would love to. It's it is remarkable to think that it's been that long since you've filed federal income taxes. Um, I want to unpack that a little bit more here. Um, but first I do

have some numbers. So, according to The Hill um and and uh and and Christian Cinema uh in the United States Senate, uh the IRS sent layoff notices to 1,400 employees. Uh that's also on top of a 26% reduction in the size and scope of the IRS from 102,000 people down to 76,000. And then on top of the additional 1,400 um and also major cuts to the IT department and enforcement department. So people like in your job as a criminal investigator for the IRS may have been on the chopping block, >> right? I mean, when I was at the IRS,

there were about there were nearly 3,000 criminal investigators, special agents. Uh, and now that that number's dwindled down. I think it might be around 2,000 or or maybe less. Uh, you know, the pay is really good. Um, they you get you have basically a 50-hour work week. So, you get, you know, built in 10 hours of overtime per week and, you know, you can progress up the the the grade scale and retire with a really nice pension. Um, you know, benefits. And so there's a lot of financial incentives to to remain

there. But you know, when you actually work there, and again, it's been many years, but of course, I've I deal with IRS agents and have dealt with them throughout the 26 years uh on behalf of clients or working as a consultant on, you know, civil or criminal IRS matters. So I really haven't seen any uptick of course in motivation uh in intelligence and I mean I'm no rocket scientist myself but in terms of the the people that are you know motivated to do a good job to do a moral job uh the mentality generally is you

know well I got a steady paycheck a good pension and so I'll just do whatever the agency tells me to do >> when well I want to unpack your story here in a moment but President Trump on the idea of ending the the income tax, would he be able to do it through an executive order and just with a stroke of a pen eliminate the federal income tax? Would he need to go through Congress? >> I don't think he would. And and the reason is because the the laws, you know, the income tax laws on the books

are constitutional. um they're enforcable but only to a limited scope of of of people or or parties, right? So it's not uh ubiquitously applicable to all Americans as you pointed out at the beginning of the show. And so if President Trump and and there's also the aspect of, you know, and I' I've spoken about this even on your show in the past that the IRS literally has to lie to their own computer systems by inputting fraudulent codes to achieve assessments. Uh they did it to me personally because, you

know, as I say, I stopped filing tax returns 26 years ago. And so the IRS has other procedures that they have to deploy when someone like myself, you know, stops swearing on a 1040 that I owe the money. So then they have to go to plan B. And that plan B involves literally deceiving their own computer systems by inputting fraudulent computer codes to, you know, carry the ball down the field. So, President Trump could expose existing fraud, existing limitations, and say, "Wow, I didn't know, you know,

just like Joe Bannister didn't know or or Clayton Morris didn't know that the IRS behind the scenes is defrauding their own computer systems to keep this income tax system going." So, no, I don't he wouldn't need Congress at all. And that's another frustrating, you know, thing to me is that you have a president who has said numerous times, we don't need the income tax. Nobody likes the income tax. And so it's the perfect storm uh to expose the the fraud, the deceit, uh the fact that it's

a communist child, not an American child in the first place. And so, yeah, I I think it's a great question because I think the answer is no. He does not need Congress. And you know, doesn't President Trump or any president like that they don't have to rely on another branch of government to get the job done? >> And I think that's even backed up. Congressman Thomas Massie has said that he he doesn't need Cong and Massie is always about congressional approval. You want to go to war, you need

congressional approval. You want to do this, you need congressional approval. And then in this case, if I'm not mistaken, Massie has said, you don't need congressional approval. You can get rid of this illegal system. Would you would you go so far as to call the federal income tax an illegal system? I mean, there are pieces of it that are legal, right? You can tax people who live in Washington DC, the District of Colombia specifically. But would you label it as an illegal operation? Uh it it is in the sense that it's

illegally uh administering and enforcing an income tax beyond the boundaries of what the law requires. So, everyone's heard of the, you know, taxation without representation cry, but this is taxation without legislation. You know, you have legislation that applies to certain people, but not to the the vast majority, but through lies, deceit, fraud, fraudulent computers. Um, you know, that's how they they deploy and have deployed this system. Um, and I I you know, if it was just exposed, which

of course I'm trying to do as best I can, uh, resigned from the IRS back when the internet was, you know, just getting started. So, uh, you know, I've been doing my best, but, you know, nowadays the American people have so many tools that that we didn't have before. And so, you know, my attitude is a little less football watching, a little less time on the golf course, you know, a little more getting in and helping to row the canoe uh back to freedom. And, you know, why lose this beautiful freedom and country

that we have? Why not, you know, go to the rehab and get it rehabilitated and strong again, uh, rather than having to start from scratch? So, you know, let let's let's fix what's broken and get back on track to being uh you know, the freest uh country in the world. >> I love that. I want to just share your story a little bit and it's it's an amazing story and I want to unpack some of the things that you've had to deal with in battle and why this might not be for everybody. But first, where can

people like learn more about fighting this tax system? Is there a website people can visit? and I I'll link it up in the description, but just while we're here in the beginning of this interview, I'd want people to to write this down. >> Thank you. Uh, agent4 truth, fo r agentfortruth.com is my website. And, uh, yeah, I have lots of free information there. You know, I don't don't do this for the money. Uh, certainly don't do us do this for the fun of, you know, jousting with

the government, >> right? >> Uh, but there's there's all kinds of free information there. So, be, you know, happy for people to go visit. >> Wonderful. We'll put it up on the screen and make sure it's in the description for people if they're driving and listening to this later. But I love your story because when you So you one day as part of your criminal investigations, I think you were in California at the time and you're you're driving to a job site

as part of a criminal investigation for the IRS and then you hear a radio show which basically like stops you in your tracks. I just think how fortuitous it is that you happen to be driving listening to a radio show about not paying taxes and here you are as a criminal investigator for the IRS going to go after somebody for not paying taxes. Can you just tell us tell our audience a little bit about that? >> Sure. Well, this is, you know, before satellite radio and, you know, this is just regular terrestrial radio and, you

know, there wasn't anything against the regulations to listen to the car radio when you're taking a drive from San Jose to East PaloAlto, California or San Francisco or Milbury or wherever you might be. And so I would listen to to a talk radio show called KSFO. The call letters are still around. And I listened to this show that was actually opposite the Rush Limba show uh hosted by Jeff Metaf. And I listened to him because he was truthful. Uh he wasn't a partisan guy. You know, Republicans are always

right, Democrats are always wrong. It was just what's the truth. And so that's why I liked him. And so one day he had this lady named DV Kid on his show. And I was really floored to hear that she was, you know, saying that the income tax was voluntary and m most Americans aren't required to pay it, you know, talking about the Federal Reserve and things that back in the 90s to my ears was like, oh, this is one of those conspiracy theorists. [laughter] And so that that disconnect between a

host who was always very truthful, everything that he said checked out, then he has this woman on talking about the, you know, my little baby, the income tax that I was, you know, getting my paycheck from. And so that's what prompted me to spend about two years of offduty, you know, research and investigation on my own time while I still served as an IRS criminal investigator to get to the bottom of it. >> That's incredible. And so after that moment, you confront your bosses. You confront the people at the IRS. You then

spend time in the IRS's own library looking through all of the documents and books to try to find out, well, where is this law that says people have to pay federal income taxes and you couldn't find it. Um, >> yes. I mean, and that was one of the super eye opening moments where I was challenged in many ways. But well, hey, you know, if you look at the IRS's own manual, it's called the Internal Revenue Manual or IRM is the acronym, you'll find that the IRS admits to their

limited jurisdiction and authority. And so I go to the IRS law library. You know, this is back with just photocopy machines and and they didn't think that anything of a special agent going up there to research to the uh the law library. So, I photocopied the pages and I'm just like, "Wow, th this isn't BS. I mean, this is really true that the IRS," Now, these manuals aren't available to the general public. Uh they're not suit secret or top secret or anything, but in

fact, the IRS's own manuals admitted u this limited jurisdiction and authority. And and by the way, there was an act that was passed by Congress called the IRS restructuring and reform act that basically was like, you know, 52 card pickup. They restructured the IRS. And all facts and evidence show that the reason they restructured the IRS is because all of these uh all this literature that was only, you know, salted away in a law library in some building was going to be available to the public.

And so the IRS was freaking out, you know, I'm sure many years in advance of like, uhoh, you mean you want us to put all this information on the internet. Well, we got to start shuffling how the IRS works and hide the ball because when the American people have access to our, you know, inner workings, they're going to discover this thing's a fraud. So this restructure and reform act that was you know claimed to make the IRS you know better and uh you know rehabilitate it was actually a you know a hide the

ball um shell game. And so again it's it's a deep topic but you know this is just one of many ways that you can see by the government's own conduct that they not only know they're lying but they're covering up their lies as far as the income tax goes. Have those books gotten out now now that the internet exists? Have they leaked out where people can read them for themselves? >> Oh, yeah. I mean, I've got copy, my original copies, you know, they're they're PDFs on my website. Um, and then

yeah, you can go like to Google Docs and you can find these old uh manuals and, you know, check them out for yourself. But you can see the pages that I'm describing right on my agent fortruth.com and see for yourself. I mean, you know, this is these are actual copies of what I copied in the law library, you know, back in 1997, 1998. Uh, and then, of course, the the current IRS structure has been reshuffled. But the the thing is, if the IRS had this limited authority in the '9s, then that means they didn't have it in the

80s, 70s, the [laughter] 60s, and all the way back to its inception. And then just because the IRS reshuffles their organization doesn't mean they somehow got the authority that they didn't have, you know, when I was checking them out. So it it it's just an absolutely deceitful uh shell game, you know, hiding the ball from the American people trying to stay one step ahead. And so, you know, somebody like President Trump could could put the kibash on it immediately because he could expose

what's already out there. uh just just be the one to like I say get on the horse and ride it to the finish line. >> Now at the heart of it for our audience that's like wait a second I don't have to pay taxes. Well at the heart of it is the 1040 right the form 1040 if I'm not mistaken which is if I'm not mistaken when you every year you sort of fill out and say you kind of almost it's like putting a contract down. Maybe you can explain this for our audience if someone

out there is like, "Wait a second, I can save this amount of money every year and I don't have to pay taxes." Could you break it down for us? >> Sure. Well, so yeah, the 1040 form is the ubiquitous, you know, tax return that people fill out uh by the you know, tens and hundreds of millions uh over the years. And so it is basically a form that's you know the regulations provide as a way for you the you know citizen to report uh what you've earned uh you know various income items and then various

deductions and then at the bottom you sign under penalty of perjury that there's an income tax you know that you owe or you may have a refund uh because the IRS has withheld or should we say the business you work for has withheld from your pay and then saved up that money and sent it over to the IRS and then somebody files a 1040 ends up with a refund and they think wow look you know I'm getting two grand back or I'm getting $1,200 back it's your money that was t taken from you in the first place

so it's really not any you know great great gift but bottom line is this 1040 form that people go to their CPA and have prepared. Uh you're swearing under oath that you owe an income tax. And so, in fact, the IRS has absolute statutory authority to assess an income tax against someone who swears on a 1040 form that they owe the income tax. Right? So, as I said earlier, you know, because I was a guinea pig, uh, where I didn't I stopped filing myself tax returns and not out of civil disobedience, but because I truly

sincerely, you know, determined that, wow, I don't have a requirement myself. So, am I going to walk the walk and actually do what I can see with my own eyes, or am I going to just out of fear, you know, just stay with the pack and and just be fearful of, you know, the agency I used to work for? And I decided that I I couldn't it'd be it'd be bearing false witness to just keep silent about it or to not do with my own life what I knew to be true. Uh but anyway, that's the the 1040 uh scheme is

to through intimidation, through habit, through, you know, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents doing the same thing, uh people providing a 1040 form sworn to under penalty of perjury that you owe the money. And then yes, the IRS has the authority to assess an income tax based on what you say, what you swear that you owe. So, if you just don't fill out one of these forms, then the IRS has no claim over money that you will owe the federal government then, right? >> Well, that and then that's when they

have to go to a plan B, right? There are provisions for the IRS to, you know, basically volunteer you or or bring you into the system that you're not cooperating with. Uh, and, you know, I'd say a lot of people that don't file a tax return are procrastinators. uh probably. But there's there's tens of millions of people that don't file federal income tax returns. Some some who know the truth and just say, "I'm not filing one of those forms and swearing that I owe money that I don't

owe." And then there's the procrastinators. Um but you know, the IRS does have procedures that they are they're they deploy if you don't cooperate. They deployed them against me, you know, personally. And then that's where I discovered this fraudulent uh these fraudulent computer entries because I did a Freedom of Information Act request and a privacy act request on for my own records, right, to drill down into this Plan B assessment that the IRS did against me because I didn't file a tax

return. And so that's where I discovered that not only myself but you know millions of other Americans that the IRS has this fraudulent coding uh telling its computer systems that I filed a form that I never filed and that I requested the IRS to calculate a tax I never that I never requested them to do. So it it brings out the fraudulent conduct by not filing. So, I can't say that, you know, if you stop filing that there'll be no repercuss repercussions because there are the IRS has steps that it can take,

but as you pointed out at the beginning of the show, the IRS is indeed falling apart and they're using antiquated computer systems to carry out these the plan B. And so, you know, if you if you're a person that's like, well, I think I want to wait till there's a few more million guinea pigs, you know, that's certainly [laughter] your prerogative. Uh but if you want to be, you know, more at the front of the line, uh you know, I mean, I I was willing to be at the front of the line.

I felt that having taken oath to support and defend the Constitution, uh I had a duty to ex tell the truth, you know, find the truth, expose the truth, and then live the truth. And so that's why for, you know, 26 years, I haven't filed a federal income tax return myself. Uh I don't um you know badger people to not file. Uh I know that it is scary. All I do is try to show people to you know encourage them to not be afraid. Uh and then when you're not afraid, you know, fear leaves

your body and courage comes in and it's it's a better feeling. And so I I just kind of expressing it from a standpoint of having experienced it myself to be an advocate for hey, you know, I I did a little bit extra uh to try to make the country freer to uh get us back to uh observing the constitution, observing the law. You know, taxation is okay. The constitution calls for it. our country was able to survive just fine from 1776 until 1913 without an income tax. Uh the income tax was declared unconstitutional

uh at least a couple times uh you know before the 16th amendment in 1913. So all of this belief that the government oh how will the government you know pave the roads and what will happen to them? I I I encourage people to let's let's feel sorry for ourselves and our families first, >> right? >> And then, you know, >> all the money that they're spending on wars and sending billions of dollars around the world, like I don't I don't shed a tear for their mismanagement of

my money. And that's what really chaps my ass is when I I send in a tax bill or tax check or whatever and you know that it's it's been spent in milliseconds by the federal government as part of their you know whatever boondoggle and war and everything else they want to do. So I I will not I will not lose any sleep or shed a tear for the federal government. >> Yes. that I and I encourage that that attitude and most people most Americans I think have it. But there is the media I believe mainstream media cultivates

this like you know oh our poor government you know we got to make sure we do obey the law and but you know the anytime the media uh mainstream media dug into my story uh they were largely hit pieces >> and so you know you begin to realize as as you and redacted know all too well you know the mainstream media isn't exactly interested in telling the truth you know they're they're agenda may depend on who advertises on their platform and and things like that. And so, uh, you know, the American people

need to know that that they're being lied to. And I'm just one guy that, you know, expected to spend a full 20 year career with the government protecting the Treasury, you know, trying to do the right thing, retire, and, you know, have a nice life and discovered that the government was lying to the people about the income tax. And when you're stealing, when trillions are being stolen, that to me was a big enough issue, you know, to do a little something about it. So, I've been just

trying to do my best over this quarter of a century to just tell my story, tell people the truth. They can take it or leave it. They can take a look, uh, or they can just keep the status quo. And I just I don't I don't believe the American people really want the status quo. And so just trying to be an advocate for uh you know waking up our our fellow Americans. >> Yeah. Hopefully President Trump could end it so we wouldn't have to have this like cat and mouse game and and also

have Americans fearful of the IRS. Like if if they want to go through with this and say I don't want to pay income taxes anymore, you know, I'm not going to fill out a 1040 and admit to the government that I owe them taxes anymore. I'm done. What can like the average American expect the IRS to do to them? Well, the and again this uh you know Payon with Freedom Law School, I would encourage people to go to his website too. I believe it's stop the fed.com uh or freedomlawchool.org.

And Paymon, I mean, talk about an investigator. you know, he didn't get the IRS criminal investigator training that I did, but his ability to drill down into the truth about the income tax and all the different procedures that the IRS has to enforce the income tax, uh, you you begin to find out that, you know, the IRS does have procedures to address or deal with someone who doesn't file a tax return. But the the uh dropping the ball uh on this enforcement because of employee turnover because of

computer systems that are going haywire because they're you know uh what 60 years old >> I mean what what agency what even other agency but also what private institution is going to keep a computer system that they've had since the 1960s. I mean, the average American probably wouldn't keep a computer system past 5 years. Uh, certainly not a cell phone, but why is the IRS keeping computer systems from the 60s >> and firing their IT department, >> right? Okay. >> Right. So anyway, there there are

procedures and I you know I think Paymon's website uh stopthefed.com people can actually read the reports and they can and there's actually uh schematic flowcharts where people can learn exactly because there's a lot of steps you know that the IRS would have to go through and that's part of the reason why I think you know Freedom Law School is so successful in helping people is because the first step is learning well what are all these steps And then you learn, oh wow, you can appeal at every step of the way. And oh,

you mean there's only 20 or 30 tax court judges in the entire country? >> Wow. >> Of 350 to 400 million people. >> That's crazy. How how could how could the existing system accommodate, you know, millions of Americans starting to question, do I really owe this or well, I'm not I'll file once I find out if I really am required to file or, you know, things like that. So I, you know, again, I don't uh badger people or lead people like the Pied Piper to do anything except

educate yourself, find out why I totally changed my life and go from having a nice retirement here now that I've got white hair uh to, you know, exposing the IRS for the last quarter century. And I just don't like people being lied to and especially about being lied to and then money being extracted out of their pocket in their bank account. So I would think the average American would have the same uh gripes and they'd want to join us and you know expose this and that way the IRS can't pick us off you

know one by one. Um everybody rises up. You write to President Trump and say hey what about that promise to get rid of the income tax? you know, get on the horse, ride it to the finish line. >> What does the 16th amendment say? >> Well, the 16th amendment, the reason that it was added is that as I mentioned earlier, the uh income tax, they tried they the powers that be, the bankers, uh you know, the the status quo tried to implement an income tax in the late 1800s and the Supreme Court didn't go

along. They said that based on the constitutional limitations, uh, income tax is unconstitutional. So the powers that be decided, well then we're going to amend the constitution. And so in the early 1900s, that effort to amend the constitution began. And so by the, you know, 1910, 1911, 1912, there was a a process to seek to amend the constitution. And so the proposed 16th amendment was sent out to the states and three, you know, the constitution requires that threearters of the states have to ratify a new

amendment to the constitution. And so uh there's even really strong evidence that the ratification process was not was fraudulent. In other words, there were states like Kentucky that actually rejected the 16th amendment, but the feds included Kentucky as a ratifying state. So that's another issue, very deep, but it's the evidence is there. So anyway, the 16th amendment was proposed, allegedly ratified in 1913 and became part or allegedly part of the constitution. Uh the problem was that in

1916 there was a case called brushaber a supreme court case that declared that the 16th amendment did not expand federal taxing power. So whatever power the federal government had in 1900 and 1890 and you know 1810 was the same power that they had in 1916. And so that was a real blow to the people that wanted to, you know, basically income tax everything under the sun. And so that that 1916 is where the process of of hiding the ball began where Congress would basically create laws that applied to someone,

some party, but not ubiquitously. But through mainstream media, you know, brainwashing and selective prosecution, they're able, they the government, the media were able to cultivate this atmosphere of, hey, everybody's got to pay, everybody's got to file. And so that's basically the 16th Amendment was that ushering in of this, you know, the status quo that we know today. But again, the truth shows that the 16th amendment doesn't have the power that the IRS claims it has. And that's not my

opinion. That's the Supreme Court's opinion. >> Wow. [clears throat] Yeah. I would encourage people to go I mean, if they're thinking about this, visit Freedom Law School, go through the flowcharts to see like, okay, I stopped paying taxes. What happens next? Like, what do if the IRS does do anything, what do I do? How do I protect myself? Um, I mean, you'd been through the ringer on this, but you were also a very outspoken voice. I think they were trying to come after you because

obviously you worked at the IRS, so they wanted to maybe make an example out of you. Uh, but you won. Um, you beat them. And what I mean, where have things where where was the last time you had any kind of interaction with with them at all? I think there's a I think there's a tax lean that's out there with my name on it. Uh, but the thing is the this fraudulent inputting of fraudulent computer codes that I that I've mentioned several times was done to me personally. That's the underlying

foundation for the income tax that the IRS claims that I owe. So, yeah, the IRS can put a lean out there on me and say, "Well, why would you believe this guy? There's he's got a tax lean." And, you know, you're feel free to believe that, but I can show I show my website how the underlying foundation for the income tax that the IRS claims I owe are fraudulent computer entries. So, you know, if if Walmart sends you a bill for a refrigerator and you didn't buy a refrigerator from Walmart, you know, and

somebody says, "Well, how come you ripped off Walmart and took the refrigerator?" You know, all your evidence shows no, I never got a refrigerator. I never went to Walmart. Never stepped inside. You know, I mean, that's that's the rub. Uh that I show evidence that it was fraudulently obtained and the IRS says, you know, I'm a tax cheat. Don't listen to me. So, I I'm willing to stack up my reputation against the IRS's for truthfulness any time of any day. Um, but anyway, that's

that's the situation. Uh, you know, earlier in 2004, about 5 years after I resigned, I was criminally prosecuted. Uh, interestingly, the IRS will generally deal with people civily, like with audits or, you know, seizing money out of a bank account or something like that. But because the IRS was really concerned that one of their criminal investigators was saying what I was saying and trying to point people to certain truths that they didn't want them to see. Uh they criminally investigated me and then indicted me in

November of 2004. And my my criminal trial was in June of 2005 and I was deservedly acquitted of the four felony charges that they leveled against me. And you know, I if there's time, but certainly on my website, I go into all of the craziness of the IRS and the DOJ bringing charges that they had no proof, you know, that I had done any of these these bad things. And yet they took me to to court anyway. Um, and you know, but that again what I was kind of the guinea pig, you know, well, just go

ahead and attack Joe, throw it all on Joe, and then we're going to see how you, you know, how your dirty tricks come out and what they are and like, well, why would you need to use dirty tricks? Why wouldn't you use, you know, your your authority? And so, you know, basically those attacks have uh illustrated what, you know, how the government works. We all know that they they're corrupt and they'll try to silence people, but you know this is an issue where it really cut it hits home

you right the money that's taken out of people's pockets every year of their life uh it's a big deal and so yeah I just thanks be to God u just tell the truth stand tall and so far the government has just you know destroyed themselves time after time and exposed themselves and so I just keep telling the truth. Uh, but I certainly haven't sent in a 1040 form swearing that I owe money that I don't believe I owe. So, you know, I'm the guinea pig. People can go look at me in the cage, uh, the

proverbial cage because the IRS hasn't put me in one and, you know, decide for themselves. Uh, but I I think people should do something about it myself. >> Yeah, I agree. No, thanks for your bravery on this and being an outspoken advocate for ordinary Americans who don't have that platform um and who are just being ripped off on a daily basis uh by the federal government in this way. So Joe, the website once again is agentfortruth.com. A >> agent fortruuth.com. There's all kinds

of great information there that goes into my my history. Uh, of course, history of the income tax, uh, facts that you're just probably not going to see that that many places, but also links to other other places. Check it all out for yourself. Uh, verify everything that I have to say, but also try to verify what the IRS has to say. I think you'll come to the same conclusion that the IRS isn't being straight with you. [clears throat] >> 100%. Joe, thank you so much for being here.

really appreciate this. Now, if President Trump would just pay attention and hopefully uh and and eliminate income taxes, that would be incredible and it would alleviate all of this pain. And then you wouldn't have to you wouldn't have to try to educate people on it anymore. It just would be gone. >> Trump Trump holds the keys. So, >> come on, President Trump. You do the right thing. >> Your job would be done. Um, thank you for pushing for this for 25 years. Joe, great to see you. Thank you so much.

Here's a transcript. It is a pretty good observation and interesting idea but I don't think it will happen.

So long as the Federal Reserve, and the Central banks exist, nothing will happen. The IRS was set up after the unconstitutional bank called the FED to make sure they were funded!!😠😠
