Should people rely on credit cards or avoid them completely?

Are you for or against the issuing or credit card by the financial institutions? Personally, I don't have any business with using a credit card because I'm all in favor of using debit card always. Many people struggle to pay off their credit card debt because they spent more than they can afford to pay. It's why I don't like using credit cards.

Do you think credit card is good or bad news?

Credit card is good. I can use bank's money without incurring any interest for the period of 45 days. I also get cashbacks or credit points for using credit cards and I can use cashbacks and credit points towards my next shopping. As long as you pay bills on time, credit card is a great financial tool

If used wisely they could be good, but once you start using them for things you couldn't normally afford is when I say it's no good. Using them to score points like @Nomad said is a good way of using them, but that's where I draw the line.

It's possible to avoid using credit card but a lot of find it hard to do because being able to spend what they haven't worked for yet is always easy. I have a credit card but it's only when using it is necessary that I do.

Yeah, the biggest problem is resisting the temptation to pull out the credit card all the time to buy things. I'm not sure if I want to constantly put myself through such stress and that's why I don't have one. When I'm spending, I know it's my own money.

This is exactly how I make use of my credit card. It's only when using the credit card serve me more benefits I would be eager to use it for purchase. As for any other thing, I'll use either my debit card or regular bank transfer to pay.

I use virtual debit cards that reward me cash back just like a credit card. I think that is the best way, no payments but cash back.

Really? Where can you find these debit cards? I did not know they made such a product.
